At Force Factor
We Are Committed
To a Better Future
Our dedication to the environment and global health fuels our mission to create positive, sustainable change.
Good for You, Good for the Planet
Force Factor® has achieved CarbonNeutral® Company certification in accordance with The CarbonNeutral Protocol, the leading global framework for carbon neutrality.
In collaboration with Climate Impact Partners, we’ve undergone a rigorous assessment of our greenhouse gas emissions. We’re dedicated to offsetting our unavoidable emissions through support of a carefully chosen portfolio of carbon projects that protect forests, support better air quality, and improve global health for a better future.
How We’re Offsetting Our Carbon Emissions
USA: Boone Appalachian IFM Kentucky
This project covers nearly 17,000 hectares in Kentucky, a biodiverse region where aggressive industrial logging practices mean clearcut harvesting. By maintaining forest carbon stocks above regional baselines and reducing harvest rates, this project fosters and protects sustainable forest growth, wildlife habitat, and forest health.
Brazil: Jurua Amazon Rainforest REDD+
Deforestation in Brazil has accounted for nearly a third of the global decline in forest cover in recent years. Carbon financing supports the local families in gaining formal land rights for preventing deforestation and trains farmers in conservation-based agriculture, allowing the preservation of pristine Amazon rainforest.
Kenya: Circle Smart Gas Meters
In Kenya, many families and businesses are switching to gas for more efficient cooking, but those without the capital for full gas cylinders are still using charcoal, wood, or kerosene. These innovative smart meters with Pay-as-You-Go (PAYG) plans are making gas cookers more accessible, helping to reduce household air pollution and significantly reduce GHG emissions.
Guatemala: Ecofiltro Clean Water and Cooking
Water-borne disease has been identified as a national priority in Guatemala. This project enables access to clean water through the distribution of water filters, and improved cooking conditions by providing stove designs that increase fuel efficiency and reduce harmful indoor air pollution; alleviating the pressure on national forests.
